Modeling Star Trek

These are pictures of my Scratch build Star Trek the Motion Picture Drydock built for the 1/350 scale Polar lights Enterprise.
The Drydock is 42 inches long 2 1/2 ft high and is fully lit with over 120 LEDs. The model is made from .080 styrene plastic and tubing. It was built using only reference pictures right from the movie. It took me a little over two years to build this model including the PL Enterprise. Both model's lighting systems can be opperated from a central control panel. I hope to one day soon take this model to a few hobby shows for others to enjoy.
