Hello, My name is Daniel Mittermeier I am 12 years old. this is my first dinosaur kit, It is 1/25 scale velociraptors from Revell.

I almost threw this kit away, the pieces were broken from my little brother and sisters and I was mad. My dad told me he would help me fix and restore the kit. He has built models for years. The first thing we did was build a new base and glued the old base to it, then we repainted the raptors and did a lot of filling and sanding. After some paint we used chalks to add a weathered look, and some high gloss fingernail polish to the eyes to give them a wet look.

The rocks are real and so are most of the greenery, some of it came from the "hobby lobby" and others from our model railroad store. We have a case to go over it but when we took the pictures there was a glare. This was really fun to build I hope you like it. I cant wait to work on my T-REX............Daniel.....
